WOW!!! I just skimmed through bill H.R.1 and felt like I consumed 10 lbs of bacon. Talk about pork, this is a pig of a bill. I thought that this bill was intended to stimulate the economy, not double the fiscal budget of the United States government.
I am posting a link for those of you that have nothing better to do on a cold winter night. Let me warn you, this is not for the faint of heart. This bill should scare the heck out of anyone that has the slightest idea of how government works, not to mention those that have pork phobias (which are those that do not like to see their tax dollars mishandled).
In the bill you will see billions of dollars appropriated for low income housing, climate change study, broadband internet development, sexually transmitted disease prevention, health information technology etc. I am finding it hard to distinguish what is intended to jump start the economy and which is intended to guarantee that the sponsoring representative gets re elected.

Keep in mind that the monies that are to be appropriated will not even be put to use until 2010, culminating in final dispersion in 2015.
